Three leagues will play within Aberdeen and District Table Tennis Association League structure for season 1999-2000 as follows (home nights in brackets).
Division 1 (7 teams): CS Surfers (Mon), McClymont A (Thur), University Eagles (Thur), Seaton Gashers (Mon) , Triangle Athletic (Frid), Ellon Ospreys (Mon), Triangle Pumas (Tues);
Division 2 (8 teams), Hall & Tawse (Mon), Seaton Legionnaires (Wed), C S Gassers (Thur), Triangle Lions (Wed), C S Mariners (Mon), Seaton Seniors (Wed), ALC Aces (Tues), Triangle Veterans (Wed);
Division 3 (7 teams), Triangle Swifts (Frid), McClymont B (Thur), Triangle Trio (Tues), Pecten Penguins (Wed), Post Office (Tues), Banchory Pipistrelles (Thur), University Falcons (Thur).
Teams will play three times against each other. One match will be scheduled at home and one away as is the normal practice. The venue for the third fixture will be determined through the toss of a coin.
In the handicap competitions this season each fixture will consist of 9 games where each player will play one game up to 61 points against each member of the opposing team. All games will start from players' individual handicap points position. At the end of a fixture points from all games will be aggregated for each team. The winning team will have the greater number of points.
Please note that Seaton Gashers start time for home fixtures should be 6.45pm and not 7.00pm as printed in the Handbook.
The University teams may be unable to play their fixtures this week. Team secretaries should contact Barry Allan (Tel 821448) to confirm.
