Web Site
This season it is hoped yet again to use the Aberdeen and District Table Tennis Association website to provide information about events, competitions, players and leagues. The URL for the site is:
http://www.aberdeentabletennis.org.uk
Links to other sites of interest to the table tennis community are also available from this site.
Please note that there is now a Forum facility for use by members. This can be accessed from the website home page.

Press Notes
League notes are supplied weekly to the Sports Desk of the Evening Express by the Match Secretary, Terry Allan. These notes incorporate up-to-date League Tables. It is hoped that staff of Aberdeen Journals will use the notes supplied to help with the creation of published table tennis articles in Saturday's Evening Express.
The Evening Express articles will provide the Association with another means of communicating with its members. The articles will provide a summary of all recent results, brief match reports, details of forthcoming events, and a list of the coming week’s fixtures and the up-to-date League Tables.
Our thanks go to Aberdeen Journals Ltd for this continued and invaluable support.
Please note that the submissions by the Match Secretary to the press are not always published and even when publication occurs the articles are not always verbatim copies of the submissions. The submissions from the Match Secretary are often shortened by Aberdeen Journals to match space availability.

Contributions
The success of the press notes can be increased by contributions from members about newsworthy incidents.
Please supply the Match Secretary (Terry Allan) with as much information as possible relating to any unusual incident occurring during any of your fixtures, particularly good performances by players, or any other noteworthy incident or fact related to table tennis matches played within the league structure. It is only with your cooperation that these notes can be successful and interesting.
The Match Secretary is also willing to publish articles, reports and photographs on the Association website.
Although contributions wil be accepted in almost any form it is preferred if they are sent electronically to terry@allans.org.

Coaching
The Association operates a coaching scheme at the McClymont Hall run by Max Singer. Anyone wishing to enrol a youngster should contact Max Singer.
Want to Help with the Coaching?
If you are able to help Max with any of the coaching for even a few weeks please contact Max at Aberdeen 707693. He will be delighted to receive any assistance.
