NORTH CONFINED TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2004/2005

Please find enclosed some entry forms for the above event to be held on Saturday 19th March 2005 in the McClymont Hall, which I would ask you to pass on to your fellow team members.

Following comments and suggestions at the 2003 AGM, the Committee introduced a Band 2 event, open to all players in the league with the exception of the top eight players.  This proved to be very popular and successful at the 2004 North Confined and resulted in an entry of 22 players. Play started in groups of 4 with at least 2 players progressing to the next stage.  Following some exciting matches, Richard Ferro eventually defeated Greig Matthew in a five-set final.

The Association desperately need your help to make this tournament a success and we urge all players to help us by taking part in what should be an entertaining and enjoyable day.

I look forward to seeing to you in the near future.

Alison Woods
